How it all started...
The California Worship Center (CWC) was launched on an Easter Sunday, April 5, 2015. Founded by Pastor Warryn S. Campbell II and First Lady Erica Campbell, the first church location was The Beverly Garland Hotel in North Hollywood, where Pastor Warryn and First Lady Erica had been holding Bible studies every month in 2014.
After only three services, we had outgrown the room and moved to the North Hollywood Recreational Center.
We held service in the North Hollywood Recreational Center for approximately three months when another rush of excited people joined our church family. It wasn’t long before we were posting flyers that read: “Here We Grow Again.”

Expanding the vision...
In the Summer of 2015, we were off to our new home at the James Madison Middle School also in North Hollywood. Our church family started with approximately 60 members and has flourished to approximately 700 members.
Where we are headed...
Just as vision was being realized and executed, the world was placed on pause by the global epidemic,COVID. But God has been faithful to our church community and even during a pandemic, CWC was able to purchase our first property on the site of 214 N. Maclay Ave. in the city of San Fernando.
Amid our many blessings, CWC has not lost sight of the importance of operating in a higher sense of purpose. From our grocery store giveaways (held twice a year), clothing giveaways, free health & wellness screenings to much more, California Worship Center is honored to serve the community we are in, along with the surrounding communities and region. Our church community is founded on 5 foundational pillars: Word, Worship, Faith, Prayer, and Generosity. As we live by these pillars on our journey, we not only elevate to higher holy places, but also to our supernal potential.
